Skipper is essentially done. I’ll wire up the plug and figure out that patio cover attachment at a later date. I’m waiting on a streamable stereo amplifier for the patio (tariff nonsense and delays). The power for the lights and the amplifier might end up in the same box. Each of the penguin lamps will have a Hue bulb in them and therefore need 120v. They will be placed around my patio (details undecided) so the wiring considerations will be done when they are all mostly ready. For the moment, I put a bulb, attached power and adopted the light to verify it all works.
I’m already well under way with Rico’s lamp. Rico, himself, has been printed and is being painted. I took a 3D model of the Fat Boy bomb and cut it out so there is a stage inside for him to stand in. I’ve just started the process of printing all the seconds of the bomb. It is going to be fairly large. It is going to take 9 prints to get all of the pieces. Spending on the time to print, prep, paint and mount, I may post an intermediate update or just a final update when he’s done. At the moment, it is getting a lot of my attention so it may come together quickly.
