

As part of my wood turning lathe setup, I needed to get a grinder/sharpener for the tools. I also got a fixture kit for sharpening the various tools. The kit includes holders to easily set up the sharpener for all of the various tools I have. Bowl gouges, in particular, have a complex sweep that takes some complicated setup.
As you can see in the pictures above, there are lots of little parts that are needed for different setups. I needed somewhere to store them. So, over the last couple of days I designed a variety of custom holders and hooks in Fusion 360, printed them, and mounted them to the side of the storage unit where I keep the grinder. I’m not sure if the printed components will all hold up under wear, but I can redesign and print the ones that fail.
