Struggling with cutting sheet goods has becoming an increasing problem the older I get. This was my first effort to address it. I welded up an outfield table when printing long material. Later, I also designed my benches to be the same height as the table so they could help as well.
Along with the outfeed table, I also have some roller support units that you can see in the background. Usually, it is enough to support wood while I cut it.
I do want to revisit the table at some point and enable it to be more helpful with smaller boards. The support wheels are too separated and far back to always be useful. I think I want to print some minor supports that can clip to the frame and can be positioned as needed. The wood can just slide over the print.
